Family before business. Then get hot and get paid. I mean after staying out of jail… of course.

Reality show fans have one more show to add to there list now. The King of the South and his wife’s documentary series “T.I & Tiny” The Family Hustle” premieres next Monday at 9 pm EST on VH1. The show will give fans and viewers an up close and personal look at how Tip lives his daily life being a husband, father and rapper. Contrary to what you may believe, he’s done with his old ways and doesn’t plan on returning to prison.

I got a million and one reasons to be out doing what I do professionally but the most important thing to me in the world is family.

TI Responds To Critics Of His Partying: Didn’t Haters Celebrate When I Left?

October 5th, 2011 | By @HYPEMANCOOPSDM

Some people have a lot to say about TI partying it up during BET Hip Hop Awards weekend after he returned home from Prison…and TI isn’t too happy about it.

Earlier this week, Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 tweeted to his co-hosts Kay Foxx and Cipha Sounds that TI needs to sit down and chill out from partying after his prison stint:

Yo @ciphasounds @kayfoxx—can someone PLEASE tell @TIP to stay HOME and stop hosting parties for a minute?! Come on man

Yo @Tip you can celebrate but why risk it at a club? What if an idiot starts ish with you? You think they won’t make you take the fall? Risk vs reward

TI, being a vocal guy, didn’t let those comments roll off his shoulder. He responded back with tweets about his right to celebrate as well as things he has been doing that hasn’t been spotlighted; like his football games, his daughter’s concert and taking his kids to The Awards:

Quick question to Rap Radar, Cypher sounds, & whoever else felt I shouldn’t have celebrated my return, why NOT?!?!?! Didn’t haters celebrate when I left?

FYI in addition to parties I also attended my two sons football games, my oldest daughters first concert, and took my kids to the awards. What’s the BIG DEAL?

No explanation…just a question. If I sat back & let somebody else who wasn’t from my city home in & takeover all weekend would they’d agree with that?!?

Actually I was hoping the people I mentioned would’ve answered those questions for me. I’m listening, Chyper Sounds, Peter Rosenburg, Rap Radar. Where you at?

Cipha Sounds wanted to that sure he cleared the air and tweeted the following:

Yo @TIP I’m MORE than happy you are home…I’m never ever a hater. Me & @Rosenbergradio are just worried about the trouble in clubs..Let’s golf
Damn, now people think I’m hating on @TIP. That’s my dog for life…I wish him only the best. This @HOT97 sh*t is too strong.

With Peter Rosenberg adding:

Yo @Tip u can celebrate but why risk it at a club? What if an idiot starts ish w u? U think they won’t make u take the fall? Risk vs reward

It’s hard not to see where Peter Rosenberg is coming from. There was a brawl at ESSO the night of TI’s ‘Welcome Home Celebration’ as well as a fight (excluding the Diddy incident) the night he was at Compound. To be associated with that type of environment fresh off of a prison stint can’t be a good look.

T.I. Released From Prison Again… Back In A Halfway House

September 15th, 2011 | By admin

Once again, TIP has been released from prison and moved back into a halfway house to wrap up the remainder of his sentence. A few weeks ago, he was removed from his halfway house in Atlanta after his prison release in Arkansas for having one too many on board of his bus. His lawyer tells TMZ:

“We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the proactive and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.’s rights by providing B.O.P. officials and the media with reliable and accurate information and that T.I. did not intend to violate his transfer furlough or any other B.O.P. rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta.”

The Kang will officially be uncaged September 29 then under probation supervision for a year.

T.I. Pens Final Letter to Fans Behind Bars

August 17th, 2011 | By @HYPEMANCOOPSDM

A little over a month before his September 29 release date from jail, T.I. has penned a final letter to his fans.

Writing from Forest City Federal Prison in Arkansas, where he is serving out an 11-month sentence for a probation violation, Tip once again thanked God and his supporters for helping him through out his time on lock down.

The Atlanta native, has been behind bars since November, after he tested positive for opiates.

During that time he has penned several letters to his fans via his Web site, trapmuzik.com.

Read the full letter below:

What up world? This will be my last message from Forrest City. Just reaching out and sending my love, respect and appreciation to all who have been ridin’ with me throughout this chapter in my life and not just recently but since all the things started happening one after another back in ’06. From Big Phil’s murder to my beautiful little angel Leiah being called home to heaven, to my arrest in ’07, the 1st prison sentence in ’09, to this last journey that I’m nearing the end of. A lot of people who are aware of all that has happened to me in my life say that there aren’t many men who could have endured and withstood so much pain, pressure and turmoil while managing to remain sane and keep their wits about them. I must say that I wouldn’t have been able to do so without God’s grace and having a strong support system behind me every step of the way. So often we spend time acknowledging the presence of “haters” and all the negativity they send our way but we don’t take the time to acknowledge and appreciate all the ones who love and support us and supply us with the positive energy we need to overcome. We complain about the pain so much that we don’t even notice how much stronger, wiser and better of a person the suffering has allowed us to become. I heard Pac say once “To live is to suffer and to survive is to find meaning in that suffering.” I later found out it came from an author by the name of Friedrich Nietzsche. When I heard Pac say that it was just some hard shit to hear your favorite rapper say before he kicked a verse. Now that I’ve gone through it and grown from it those words have a real true meaning to me. I know this won’t be my last battle with adversity but it has truly prepared me for whatever else may come in the future. For that also I’m thankful. Now it goes without saying that I hate I had to come back to prison for these 10 months but I am truly grateful for the knowledge, growth and understanding I’ve received from the experience.
Next time you hear from me I’ll be back out there with you. Doing for those who can’t do for themselves and speaking for those whose voices are never heard. When I touch down, I’m going all the way back to square one, like I’m fresh in the game and never sold a record. Back on some I’M SERIOUS, TRAP MUZIK shit… But until then RESPECT to all who deserve it. I’ll be back at you in a minute.
