NBA: Dwyane Wade Takes Shot at Dwight Howard’s ‘Loyalty’?! Wade Responds To Rumors

Dwyane Wade made a post on twitter yesterday laughing at the word loyalty. This came after Dwight Howard made a statement at his press conference about players who have left their teams for new organizations,

“I’m not like those guys, or those people they’re trying to paint me as,” Howard said. “I’m too loyal. That’s not my nature.”

Eye on Basketball presumes Howard was referencing players like LeBron James and Chris Bosh who signed with the Heat in free agency, and Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul who demanded trades. Well Dwyane Wade completely laughed off Howard’s assertion:

Gilbert Arenas Traded To Orlando Magic [VIDEO]

The Washington Wizards found  a willing partner for their rebuilding effort in the Orlando Magic. The 2009 Eastern Conference champions acquired Gilbert Arenas from the Wizards in exchange for Rashard Lewis.

The Magic also got back forward Hedo Turkoglu, Jason Richardson and Early Clark sending Vince Carter, Marcin Gortat and Mickeal Pietrusto Phoenix.

Magic point guard Jameer Nelson will remain the starter at that position. But it will be interesting to see how a front court of Richardson, Arenas and Nelson gets managed.

Most felt Arenas was bound to be traded after being suspended 50 games last year for a gun incident with teammate Javaris Crittenton. The Wizards also drafted #1 pick John Wall making Arenas less necessary.
