The Washington Redskins on Wednesday signed rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III to a four-year contract, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The Heisman Trophy winner from Baylor was the second pick in this year’s draft.
Under the collective bargainning agreement, Griffin’s contract is due to be about $21 million, roughly two-thirds of which would be the signing bonus.
Thirteen of the 32 first-round draft choices, including top overall pick Andrew Luck, remain unsigned
