The Wall Street Journal reports that off of the heels of their well-received Coachella performance, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are planning on going on tour with the life-like, two-dimensional image of Tupac that wowed audiences.
According to the report, the idea was conceived by Dr. Dre nearly a year ago. The companies responsible for the illusion say that a tour-ready Tupac hologram would involve extensive work to prepare.
Representatives for Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg plan to discuss logistics for a tour involving the two performers and the virtual Tupac, according to a person familiar with the discussions.
