Wiz Khalifa’s playful “Black And Yellow” anthem for the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Steelers football team has certainly worked. In addition to debuting his cut’s “G-mix” video recently featuring verses from Snoop Dogg, Juicy J and T-Pain, the “Terrible Towel” enthusiast is set to perform the track on during the AFC Championship game on Sunday (January 23) where the Steelers will clash with the New York Jets.
“It’s all love for Wiz Khalifa, but we can’t let that song rock this weekend, not in the clubs,” Mister Cee announced during his mid-day mix on Friday. “It’s all about the Jets!”
“Shout out to Rex Ryan,” Cee said.
“We decided to go ahead and say, ‘You know what? Let’s do a movie and a soundtrack and just become, you know, bosom buddies and do what we do, ’cause we love what we do and we love each other and at the same time we know what the people want,’ ” Snoop said. “The people want to see the two generations come together where hip-hop ain’t about old school and new school. It’s just about good music and making good moves and putting something out there that’s classic where people can respect it and say, ‘Yeah, so now, this was some gangsta sh– that really made hip-hop gradually grow to another level.’ “None found.
